Like most events this summer and early fall, the 40th Annual Folsom Street Fair drew a huge crowd and events during the long week were successful. The Folsom Street Fair was on Sunday, September 24 and Leather Week began the previous weekend and ran through Sunday night.
LeatherWalk produced by the Leather & LGBTQ Cultural District held their annual SOMA celebration and march, LeatherWalk, on Sunday, September 17, starting at the Polk Street side of San Francisco City Hall. LeatherWalk stopped at the following venues on the way: Oasis, Powerhouse, Hole in the Wall, Azúcar Lounge, Folsom Street Community Center, Leather Etc., Mr. S Leather, Ringold Alley Monument, Lone Star Saloon before arriving at the SF Eagle for Leather Pride Fest and the raising of the Leather Pride Flag. This raised funds for the Leather & LGBTQ Cultural District. https://sfleatherdistrict.org/
There were a few events before the official Leather Pride Week began such as the Friday, September 15 Mr. S Leather Customer Appreciation Party and RUFF: Pups Off Leash at the Powerhouse; The15 Association Dungeon Monitor and CPR Training at Transform1060 and Mr. SF Eagle Leather Contest on Saturday, September 16.

Wednesday, September 20 had Queer Kink and Spirituality at Manny's and on Thursday, 40 Years of Filth fundraiser gala with Sister Roma and special guests at BEI Hotel, SF Crossdressing Club Leather Night at the Folsom Center, and Dirty Alley Folsom by Mr. S Leather at the Powerhouse.
Thursday, September 21 was busy with a Bare Chest Calendar Jock Strap Auction at the Powerhouse, Smoke n Alley Cigar Social at the SF Eagle, Sleaze at Transform1060, Provocateur Folsom Party at Bergerac and Thrust at the Powerhouse.
Friday, September 22 included Leather/Kink/BDSM Classes at BEI Hotel, a FLSM Leather Masquerade Ball at The Academy SF, Yes, Your Harness party at the Lone Star, Bearracuda Horse Meat Discoat Public Works, and Stank party at the Powerhouse.
Saturday, September 23 started with a Big Muscle Bear Charity Party at the DNA Lounge, Drip Rubber Social at the Powerhouse, On Guard Cigar Salon at the SF Eagle, Doggy Day Care Pup Social earlier in the day at the SF Eagle, and The 15 Association Play Party at Transform1060.
Saturday, September 23 included Praise - Dark Garden’s Folsom Event at The Academy SF, Diaper Peeps Dance Party at Cat Club, Lick It at the Powerhouse, Code Folsom Edition at The Edge, Pervert XX at The Midway, and the Magnitude Dance at SVN West.
Sunday, September 24 was the big boy of them all, the Folsom Street Fair produced by Folsom Street Events from 11 AM to 6 PM. There were many peripheral events throughout the day, and among them were Donna Sachet's Folsom Brunch/25th Anniversary at her home at the top of Castro Street had virtually every dignitary and Leather titleholder visit. Folsom Sunday at the SF Eagle, Folsom Sunday at the Hole in the Wall, Folsom Sunday at Oasis, Folsom Sunday at the Cat Club, Going Down on Folsom at the Powerhouse, Folsom Sunday at the Lone Star, The tradition of Current Titleholder Introductions are back with this year being on the SF Eagle patio, CumUnion at Transform1060, Say Love Folsom at the Monument, Deviants Adult Arcade at 149 9th Street, Real Bad at 1015 Folsom, and Sanctum at 715 Harrison.
The tantalizing performances by Alotta Boutte' was the highlight of the space for women of every kind and all trans and nonbinary folks on the Playground stage during the Fair.
The Twisted Windows and KinkPOC Bay Area Bondage Stage manifested the risqué rope that has long been a Folsom Street Fair highlight with captivating scenes, demos, performance art, and education. The SF Eagle had a stage of their own, and there was a stage set for BDSM play and rope bondage and suspension. Of course, the Steamworks spinner game stage had a huge crowd most of the day.
The 15 Association was busy around the weekend and at the Fair with a capacity crowd of over 100 on Saturday for their Folsom Play Party at Transform1060. The 15 Association colors were visible all day of the Fair with said members usually playing.
